Following on from our head of digital’s (Rich) blog post on 9th November referencing our work in partnership with Thorntons on their 2011 Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas… campaign. Here’s the low-down on the latest Facebook statistics.
We’re currently just over 3 weeks into the campaign and we’ve seen Thorntons Facebook followers increase from 9,550 to 10,520. Likes for the App are now (at the time of writing) just shy of 800 and entries into the Christmas poll prize draw stand at over 2,300.
The App also encouraged people to upload their Christmas memories to the wall. We’ve seen 231 entries so far with some (let’s say) interesting pictures from ‘the family’ archives of Thorntons Facebook followers! We’re still not even half way through the campaign period. The results are more than encouraging and customers are clearly engaging with the brand.
